It started in the 80s with a doll’s pram, a collection of baby grows and booties, and a very patient dog. Long before “dog mom” was a hashtag, I was busy tucking my pups into bed and pushing them around the house until they fell fast asleep. To me, they weren’t just pets; they were my babies and the heartbeat of the home.
Hi, I’m Louisa van der Walt and founder of Paws and Reflect Co., born from that same childhood devotion, refined by a designer’s eye and a mother’s heart. Based in the sun-drenched landscapes of South Africa, we create luxury matching activewear for the entire pack—women, men, teenagers, kids, and the four-legged shadows who follow us everywhere.

Cooper
CEO and Head of Security
Don’t let the size fool you; Cooper runs this empire with an iron paw. Known as our resident “demon dog,” he can switch from a sweet lap-snuggler to the devil-wears-fur in 0.2 seconds. He spends his days supervising Morris and ensuring no delivery driver goes unannounced. He is the reason we will be recommending pet cams and trackers in the near future – just to check if he’s plotting world domination.
MacKenzie
Head of Leisure
MacKenzie believes that “activewear” is a bit of a misnomer—she prefers “nap-wear”, but we settled on “Pack-tive Wear”. As the matriarch of the pack, she has mastered the art of the royal snub. She is physically capable of jumping onto the sofa, but she refuses to do so if a human is available to lift her. She ensures every fabric we use is soft enough for a 22-hour slumber.
Morris
Director of Energy
The son of Cooper and MacKenzie, Morris clearly missed the “lazy” and “demon” memos. He is the life of the party—active, beautiful, and perpetually moving, chasing birds in the garden. His endless energy inspires our focus on health and vitality, and he has decided that he will be our wellness ambassador in the near future.
He’s proof that you can rise above your circumstances and your parents’ drama.
